Absolutely fabulous young Petaluma graphic designer and family friend Damon Karr created this year's striking custom label for the newly bottled (best yet) 2008 Petaluma Hills, Cool Climate, Que Syra Syrah.
Grown, picked, crushed, fermented, pressed, barrel-aged and bottled by the garagiste, aka the Italian Husband and motley crew of backyard wine country barbarians, right here on Rivetti Mountain, this super-small lot, private Petaluma Gap Syrah is set to knock your socks off! Give it a few more months to settle in the bottle and we'll be happy campers around Thanksgiving!

I LOVE it.. can I get one?? Happy Weekend, Rivettis :-)

I can report that the gang (including their parole officers) at Petaluma's Internationale Insituto De Vino Wino have already "field tested" the vino (sans label) and they give it their highest rating. They could not wait until Thanksgiving.

I love this label. Timo showed it to me at the SocialMedia Conference. It reminds me of Ralph Steadman's Bonny Doon labels. Damon is quite the talent.

I will have to check out the Bonny Doon labels and will pass along your compliment to Damon. He's an outstanding creative and only 18.
