Oh yum! Salad fans should run, not walk to downtown Petaluma's Free Range Provision & Eats for one of the Fourth Street store's vibrant selection of unrivaled to-go salads.
Proprietor, Suzanne, really does hand sort each delicate, fresh stem of arugula, spinach or range of additional greens to insure optimum quality and taste. Her thoughtful combos such the new Spring Super Crunch, pictured above, create salads that are bursting with the crispness of the season. This one packs a punch of earthiness with grains, nuts, peas, spring onions, arugula and goats cheese cheese. A delicious side serving of salad dressing helped keep the greens crisp until ready to eat.
More farm-fresh goodness awaits with a Silo & Sea Protein Salad, Orchard Spinach Salad and Field Greens & Beans Caesar Salad. Each salad is locally sourced.
Free Range Provisions & Eats (next door to equally great B Street Mercantile Co) is open Tues - Thurs 11 am to 5 pm, Friday 1 pm to 5 pm and Saturday 11 am to 5 pm.
