Art and photography lovers mark your calendar for Saturday and Sunday June 27th and 28th, 2015. MarinScapes Art Exhibit & Benefit is one of my top-pick regional fundraisers for Marin and Sonoma County's non-profit, Buckelew Programs.
This wonderful fine art exhibit and sale exclusively features landscapes and scenes of stunning Marin County.
Now in its 27th year, the art show and sale offers works by 30 well-known fine artists and photographers including 2015 Marin Cultural Treasure Award Recipients Kathleen Lipinski and Steve Emery — the featured artist this year. Many of the featured artists will be on hand to chat with during the weekend exhibit and available to answer questions about their works.
The gorgeous private property near downtown Larkspur where MarinScapes is held is open to the public exclusively for this benefit. Guests are invited to enjoy art, wine and refreshments in the ambiance of the historic Escalle Winery’s barn and inn surrounded by wooded hills at the edge of a bucolic horse pasture.
Buckelew Programs includes Family Service Agency of Marin and Helen Vine Recovery Center.
A Gala Opening takes place on 6/25, Meet the Artists Reception 6/26.
Escalle Winery is located at 771 Magnolia Ave in Larkspur
