Don't have time to bake this holiday season? If you're lucky enough to live in Southern Sonoma County, head on over to Della Fattoria in downtown Petaluma and order from a mouthwatering range of festive cinnamon roles, sticky buns, Panettone, Panforte, gingerbread men and the bakery's West Coast twist on Buche de Noel - Stump Noel!

Deadline to order for Christmas is Sunday December 22nd. The bakery is open on Christmas Eve for pick up from 6am to 3pm.

Around the corner and along the street a little walk, Bovine Bakery has a tasty range of holiday specials emerging from its ovens daily, this December. Stop by to see for yourself. I find it impossible not to come home with a little something in a small, brown bag whenever I stroll past this great little bakery on Fourth Street. 

Petaluma Pie Company, in-between Della and Bovine, on Putnam Plaza, also has a Dec 22nd deadline for ordering Christmas treats. Stop by on Saturday December 14th from 1 pm to 3pm for a sample of the pie people's seasonal special, the super-tasty Shaker Orange Cranberry Pie (thinly sliced organic oranges macerated, peel and all, in unrefined organic sugar with tart cranberries baked with farm fresh egg custard).
