Downtown Petaluma's Free Range Provisions and Eats is busy celebrating seasonal Northern California living with beautiful and useful items for the home and body along with a delicious selection of locally made preserves, condiments, sweets and cheeses - gifts galore expressing the bounty being produced by our region's farmers, ranchers, food artisans and crafters.
To add to the holiday celebrations Free Range (which, if you haven't already checked it out, is a new lifestyle inspired shop located at 25 4th Street) is hosting Friday night wine tasting on December 13th and 20th, from 5pm to 7 pm.
As you know, Petaluma is home to one of the region's premium Pinot, Chardonnay and Syrah grape growing micro climates, producing the fruit for an increasing number of award winning wines.
Stop by on either Friday in the first of a series designed for you to meet local wine makers and taste award-winning wines produced in Petaluma by Petaluma GAP member wineries.
Friday, December 13th – Wine Tasting is with Clary Ranch – small producer of top rated Pinot Noir and Syrah wines.
Friday, December 20th – Wine Tasting is with Saltonstall Estate - handcrafted Pinot Noir and sparkling wine from estate grown grapes.
In addition, every Sunday in December, Free Range offers tastes from its carefully selected range of artisan foods made by small batch producers such as Girl & the Fig, McEvoy Ranch, Hurley Farms, Gary & Kit, Sonoma Valley Girls, Valley Ford Cheese, Bellweather, Sonomic and Canvas Ranch.
These wonderful local products are available to purchase individually or in gift baskets for personal or business gifting.
Free Range is currently open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, and Sundays from noon to 5 pm. Find the store across from the Historical Museum. For more information visit https://www.facebook.com/FreeRangeProvisions.
