Petaluma-based painter/illustrator Shannon Abbey captures our four-legged family members beautifully and timelesssly in pet portraits on canvas and also on pillows and in jewelry. Shannon's outstanding and vibrant work is currently being featured at 'Art Without Labels' Gallery in the heart of Petaluma's downtown boutique shopping district, on Kentucky street.
Art Without Labels serves the developmentally disabled community. Each quarter, the gallery's director, Lorin Kaufman opens retail space to selected artists from within the community.
Shannon's pet portraits are commissionable in a variety of sizes. The artist's pre-made pillows feature specially selected images and are crafted from vintage tablecloths, tea towels and calico flour sacks.
Art Without Labels invites you to stop by to enjoy live music and refreshments from 4-8pm on December 14th and 21st. Regular Gallery hours are 12-8pm daily.
