Dropped the two youngest boys at school just fifteen minutes before summer officially transformed itself into the coveted Fall equinox, though looking around the luminous Southern Sonoma County landscape, there is little to cloak this colorful turning of the seasons.

Having taken part in Steph's Sunday afternoon MoveOn.org Obama Campaign calling party, I was flabbergasted to hear that this motley crew of 20 passionate Petaluma volunteers combined with thousands and thousands of progressive Americans at consecutive calling parties all over the country, actually utlized Sunday's free long distance plans to phone and motivate a half million all-important voters in the battleground states.
Raced around town the latter half of today keeping the economy afloat with trunk loads of groceries and kids dental check-ups, school magazine subscription drives and the like and after dropping off and picking up at the farthest-flung sporting fields known to womankind I came home to the two oldest boys and one girlfriend practising Tai Chai in the family room to the dulcet tones of a convenient Comcast broadcast.
Yes, change is in the air. Teenage boys into Tai Chai? Could they be starting to mellow? Maybe we'll make winemakers of them, yet?
