Join Petaluma Historical Museum & Library for a fun-filled program featuring Petaluma Gap’s Leghorn Wine Company Owner and winemaker Nick Hess, who grew up in Petaluma and has fond memories of visiting the Museum. He is delighted to support the Museum by sharing his passion for local winemaking, which you'll taste in every pour.
Learn why Nick named his winery “Leghorn,” and about the journey that brought him back to his hometown as a Petaluma winemaker.
In addition to Nick telling us about each variety as we taste, myself and other local authors will be paired with each glass, briefly sharing about our work and available to sign their books that are on sale in the Museum Bookstore. Ken Nugent, Alan Butler, Frances Rivetti, and KC Greaney & Alice van Ommeren.
Celebrate Petaluma with fine local wine and light appetizers and buy autographed local books for your holiday gift list (and other goodies from the Gift Shop)!
At this event I will be reading from Fog Valley Winter, Pioneer Heritage, Backroad Rambles and Vintage Recipes.
