Mark your calendar for the evening of Wednesday, December 6th, 2017, 6.30 pm — I'm delighted to be returning to my favorite local floral emporium, Second Street Flowers, in Petaluma's Theatre Square to read from a chapter on wild mushroom foraging on the forest floor from my second book, Fog Valley Winter — A Farmstead Fireside Companion — Pioneer Heritage, Backroad Rambles and Vintage Recipes.
Last year's reading on Mistletoe Hunting was one of my all-time most enjoyable gatherings with book and nature lovers in the North Bay. I'll be posting about this lovely event over the next few weeks — bring a friend and enjoy refreshments in the warm and cozy surrounds of this charming store, decked in its holiday glory with stunning wreaths and succulents for sale, alongside books and floral gifts.
