Mark Squire of Fairfax’s Good Earth Natural Foods and a pioneer in the natural foods industry purchased Tara Firm Farms, the 280 acre Petaluma farm property formerly owned by Tara and Craig Smith, in April of 2016.
The farm's burgeoning CSA grew too big for Tara to handle. Mark's son, Kris Eldridge-Squire and his wife Oona Squire are in charge of the day to day operations of the farm and event planning. They hopes that as the farm develops they'll be able to sell some of its produce in the Good Earth stores, though most of it supplies the farm's Community Supported Agriculture members.
