Petaluma lives up to its reputation as a boozy riverfront city in the naming of its new, annual tasting event bringing together all of Petaluma’s burgeoning craft alcohol producers in one spirited weekend. Petaluma Drinks - June 2nd & 3rd, captures the essence of this close community of outstanding brewers, vineyard managers, winemakers, cider makers and distillers who are ready to welcome you into their tasting rooms, ranches, and facilities for a memorable taste.
Given the on-point event name, a newly released website and promotional materials are (rightly) plastered with reminders not to overdo it and never to drink and drive. Hey, no glossy, wine country marketing here folks, Sonoma may sip, but Petaluma Drinks!
Ticket holders will be invited to visit each producer once during the weekend. Many producers are offering purchase discounts for ticket holders for those who'd like to take a bottle or two of something Petaluma-made home with them. Tickets include a voucher for a food item at Petaluma’s centrally located food truck park: The Block.
The event takes place in various tasting rooms and facilities of Petaluma’s craft producers. Participating producers will be open for event tasting from 11-4 both days. Early bird tickets are $55 per person, $65 at the event.
Check in for the event starting at 10 am on Saturday June 2nd at the Petaluma Visitor’s Center, 210 Lakeville St, Petaluma, adjacent to the train station and right next to downtown.
Designated Drivers will get their own wristband for free non-alcoholic drinks at each stop and a free commemorative water bottle. Event organizers recommend out-of-towners to use the new Smart Train dropping off in the heart of downtown at the visitor’s center for event checkin.

Ten percent of the ticket price is to be donated to the COTS homeless foundation and another ten percent to PAS animal shelter.
