The Jack London Piano Club celebrates Valentine’s with a romantic concert on Sunday, February 12th at Jack London State Historic Park.
Piano Club presents their recitals playing the beautiful Steinway Grand Piano that belonged to Jack London’s wife and “mate-woman,” Charmian London, which she regularly played for her beloved husband.
This special Valentine’s performance features love songs and a diverse repertoire of piano solos ranging from classical to popular music. Performers will include many of the most popular members of the Piano Club including San Francisco pianist Rubina Mazurka.
Since 2011 the Piano Club has presented quarterly concerts, raising over $14,000 to benefit operations at the Park.
