Southern Sonoma County's painter and potter Aaron Edmondson exhibits around 28 of his beautiful pots and watercolor portraits this month, through mid-July 2016 at The Finley Center 2060 West College ( Corner of College and Stoney point) in Santa Rosa.
Aaron’s first career of 35 years included working for Admiral Rickover and the Nuclear Navy, Deputy Controller, U.S. Department of Energy and staff of the Appropriations Committee, U.S. House of Representatives. Aaron is now devoting his attention to the making of art. This includes pottery, oil and watercolor painting and print making.
He has shown and sold his Art in the Washington D.C area and has received Awards from various organizations there.
The artist has had a one man show of his pottery at the Sculpture Gallery at the U.S National Institute of Health.
Aaron has continued his painting and potting since moving to California and has shown in several Juried venues in Petaluma, Sebastopol and San Rafael. He also shows and sells his pottery in Occidental and Petaluma.
He says: “Of all the gifts of Art, the one that continues to excite me is how it causes me to see so much more.”
