Happy to have my books in another great Marin County storefront location this fall. Former Petaluman Kasey Gardner and her son Duncan (with help from the rest of their family) launched a super-cool new lifestyle store at 530 San Anselmo Avenue, in chic and charming downtown San Anselmo, this October.
Kasey tells me there's a lot of interest from shoppers wanting to know more about our SoCo lives to the north of the Marin County border!
She and Duncan have scoured the west for the best in women's and men's clothing, accessories and home goods with an emphasis on adventure.
I've know Kasey since our kids were in pre-school. It's wonderful to see a mother-son business collaboration that exudes re-invention and free-spirit.
I'm looking forward to being a part of a "meet the maker" event with my book at the store some time during the holidays.
Duncan sought out stocking raw denim Tellason jeans — made exclusively in Marin County and made to last. You won't find them on store shelves anywhere else in the area.
Tumbleweed Mens is a one stop shop for men in Marin County and surrounding areas seeking style and quality in casual-wear. Close to 95% of the products Duncan has curated are made in America and most of those companies manufacture their products in California.
