Fifty-one-year-old James Gandolfini was one of my all-time favorite American actors. The Marlon Brando of our time who took his celebrity with a grain of salt. An iconic and well respected, larger than life actor who embodied Tony Soprano of HBO's long running The Soprano's (1999-2007) with such strength and power, New Jersey born Gandolfini is reported to have passed away of a stroke while on holiday in Rome.
Riposa in pace James Gandolfini.
