What a picture perfect palette of yellow and purple and green revealed itself whilst I was foraging for the last of the fall season's beets in my neighbor's Merle's bountiful garden, this week.
November foraging has proved something quite different from spring and summertime bounty hunting in friends and neighbor's gardens, along randomly spotted lanes and hillside brush.
This week's score of walnuts, oranges, apples and beets are bound for my assigned salad course at a Fall Forager's supper at a foodie friend's house, this weekend. I'll be charging my camera for the ready to snap some shots of the other, undoubtedly spectacular seven courses.....
