What could be better than bringing Chef Kay Baumhefner into the mix at this weekend's Artists and Farmers of Sonoma inaugural event at Cornerstone?
Baumhefner is the heart of Sonoma country goodness when it comes to bringing the bounty of the land to table. The legend of Stone Soup will spring to life in her capable hands this Sunday, October 3rd, 2010 as the Petaluma-based culinary queen and her crew of helpers gather together baskets of fresh grown veggies both from Cornerstone's gardens and participating farmers to fill a giant pot in the village square barn.
By the end of the afternoon Baumhefner and her crew will have chopped, stirred and simmered a medley of little miracles from the soil into a savory harvest soup to share in this community celebration of seasonal abundance.
Don't miss this free, festive ProjectHERE event, taking place from 11am to 4pm at Cornerstone, Sonoma.
