Over 3,000 blog posts written over a sixteen year timeline here on Southern Sonoma Country Life have been archived this week, making room for new content in a new era.
Thank you for sticking with me for all or any amount of the timespan of my blog, which I launched back in 2007 when blogs were a fairly new thing in the world. I really do consider it an honor to have readers around the world who check in with my posts, many of whom keep in touch with email responses and also on other forms of social media.
Now that blogs are almost old-fashioned, I'm wondering what the future will hold for this space that I've carved out in a little corner of the vast excess of the internet.
I'm planning to post more this new year as I'm in between books at the moment, though I must confess, I do have the first chapter action and an outline on paper for the next Sonoma County based novel that has been craftily taking shape in my head.
This beautiful oak was lost in the rains at the end of 2022. It served as a reminder to me that roots run deep and though the landscape around us is constantly changing, new outlooks are poised to burst forth if we look for them.
I'm looking forward to populating this online space with the next 3,000 posts!
Best Wishes,
Frances xo
