This one appeals to me so much that I'm going to have a go at penning a poem, an adaptation of my Fog Valley books. I hope this call for submissions also appeals to many of my writer and artist readers and friends in the area. It'll be compelling to see this exhibit at Petaluma Arts Center August 11th through 24th, 2022.
Deadline for art submissions is July 9, poetry August 1st so best get to it!
Agri-CULTURED explores cross-cultural intersections of food and farming in our region. The project brings together food producers, purveyors, and artists who work locally and align with global concerns of sustainable practice and cultural memory.
It not only bridges art, science, and agriculture but also engages the spheres of hospitality, tourism and the economy of Sonoma County.
This project was made possible with support from California Humanities, a non-profit partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities, and from Creative Sonoma.
