One of my absolute favorite places on the southern Sonoma and west Marin border is McEvoy Ranch. I'm a long-time social club member at the ranch and never tire of a visit for a glass of wine and taste of the season's olive oil. There's always something fun going on during social club gatherings and it's especially appreciated that super safe-distancing protocols have allowed for late summer and fall forays out to the ranch during this present time.
You don't have to be a social club member to soak in the gorgeous surrounds and gracious hospitality of the McEvoy team this November. Thanks to social club manager Lauren Cadwallader, I'm delighted to invite you to join me for one or more or all of three upcoming Wine Wednesday Literary Events taking place at the ranch, featuring three Sonoma County indie authors, including me, reading from my novel Big Green Country.
2020 has been a quiet time for book readings in person — which makes this spacious, outdoor, safe-distanced literary gathering all the more to look forward to and savor for book, wine, olive oil and natural beauty product lovers alike to relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery and lovely, local wines.
My good friend Jayme Cellitioci kicks off the series on Wednesday, November 4th, with me, Frances Rivetti reading in person on November 11th and another dear & talented friend, Claudia Sutton, introducing her wonderful new illustrated cookbook on the 18th.
Hope to see you there! Books will be available. Mask up and get your holiday shopping done early with a bounty of gifts available in the ranch store.
