Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue is excited to start its second year of production for its Organic Wildlife Garden. The team is adding a new benefit especially for its Garden Club Members and guests: An Eating For Health Class Series.
First Garden Club Class is on Saturday, April 28th, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Classes are taught by Certified Holistic Nutritionist and Therapeutic Chef, Desiree McGunagle. Desiree has experience teaching corporate wellness workshops and working with individualized clientele throughout Sonoma and Marin county, as well as long distance with people all over the United States, from North Carolina to Hawaii.
Expect tasty food demos, handouts and recipe information. There is limited space at the center for this class so now is the time to sign up. It's FREE for members of the Garden Club and only $25 per class (or $100 for all 5) for everyone else. All of the proceeds go directly towards funding the wildlife garden at the rescue center and public education efforts on how to humanely exclude wildlife from gardens.
