Petaluma’s National Egg Day Parade celebrates its 100th anniversary on Saturday, April 28th, 2018 as what we now know and love as our annual, quintessential southern Sonoma County Petaluma Butter and Egg Days. The parade was first featured in national newsreels, its floats of giant chickens boasting Petaluma, home to six million hens laying 600 million eggs at the time as “Egg Basket of the World!”
