Healing By Art: After the Fires

Many in our community lost homes and have been traumatized by the October firestorm. The healing process has slowly begun and regional artists ask, what can we give back to the community to help?
If you're an artist in Sonoma County, consider submitting art that was created in the aftermath of those terrible weeks to an exhibition of art, sculpture and photography at Chroma Gallery, 312 South A St, Santa Rosa.
Anyone can submit one or two art pieces in any media created in the aftermath of the fires. Pieces may be up to 42 inches in any direction. No fee, but donations accepted.
Artwork won't be for sale at the exhibit, but potential purchasers may contact the artists directly via email. Santa Rosa Art Center is sponsoring this special show and there will be free workshops for children and teens.
Chroma Gallery Hours are Thurs to Saturday, Noon to 4pm and Sunday 11 am to 2pm and by appointment.
