Petaluma People Services Center invites you to its third annual 1,000 Petaluma Bowls event on November 24th, 2017.   This  event celebrates our community by featuring bowls painted by many of your neighbors and beautiful ceramic bowls created by local artists. The event highlights the fact that we all must come together to address hunger in our community. PPSC provides programs that bring healthy food and meals to our community’s most vulnerable and food insecure individuals.   Even though our economy is recovering, thousands of people in Sonoma County still struggle in poverty. Increasingly, more home-bound seniors are receiving a hot meal (and daily security check) daily though our Meals on Wheels program. Our Petaluma Bounty programs push beyond the immediate demands of hunger relief toward community food security and hunger prevention with programming that expands our community’s capacity to feed each other into the future.
