Love Nick's Cove out on Tomales Bay and especially the new Wine Wednesday 50% off a bottle of wine deal, which is hard to beat. I recently dined out in town with girlfriends and was charged a $25 corkage fee on a nice bottle of Petaluma Gap wine we'd brought in with us.
I understand that wine mark up is essential for many eateries to make a profit, but there's something so gracious about restaurants that offer discounts on corkage for local wines or, like Nicks Cove, a night to splurge on a great bottle of local wine without breaking the bank.
