It's that time of year and I'll be at the judges' table once again for the salsa entries at the Great Petaluma Chili Cook-Off, now celebrating its 20th anniversary, Saturday afternoon, May 6th, at the Sonoma Marin Fairgrounds.
Each year this terrific event is more fun than ever, with scores of teams cooking up delicious chilis and salsas for you to taste as you make your way around this lively gathering of locals, raising money for Cinnabar Theater's Youth Rep Company.
Craft Beer tasting has become one of the highlights of the Chili Fest - not surprisingly, given the perfect pairing!
Get yourself over there between 1pm and 5pm. Tickets are available at the door.
