About this time in Summer, I've typically run out of great television series to binge-watch.
Just as I was lamenting a lack-luster smattering of anything remotely interesting on tv, one of my media savvy sons switched on "Chef's Table" in a kindly gesture of keeping his Mom up-to-date on the latest and greatest in must-watch productions.
If you haven't yet watched the superb "Chef's Table" series on Netflix, get with the program and settle down to follow a handful of the world's seriously inspirational culinary artists.
The series offers viewers the opportunity to go inside the lives and kitchens of six of the world's most renowned, international culinary talents. Each of the six episodes features an acclaimed chef —Ben Shewry (Melbourne, Australia), Magnus Nilsson (Järpen, Sweden), Francis Mallmann (Buenos Aires, Argentina), Niki Nakayama (Los Angeles, CA, USA), Dan Barber (New York City, USA) and Massimo Bottura (Modena, Italy).
