"BottleRock has one of the most diverse lineups we've ever been part of. I mean...Robert Plant?!? Snoop Dogg?!? We're on the same lineup as some of my biggest childhood idols," says Ben Morrison of one of Sonoma County's favorite Bay Area bands, The Brothers Comatose.
"It's going to be a really fun festival. And it's in our own backyard. We can't wait", says Ben of the three-day music, culinary, wine and brew festival soon to takeplace in the heart of the City of Napa at the Napa Valley Expo, May 29-31, 2015.
Actual brothers, Alex and Ben Morrison grew up in a house (in Petaluma), that was known for its music parties. “The Morrison house was a gathering place for local musicians – everyone would bring an instrument, call out tunes, call out changes, and just play for hours,” says Ben. “I learned more in that living room than in any class I ever took.”
The brothers took this generous, inclusive, inspirational and rowdy musical upbringing and brought it to life on stages all over the country.
The environment the band creates with their music and their live shows is a sing-along, stomp-along, full blown party. And that’s exactly why publications are raving about The Brothers Comatose (click here for 2015 tour dates).
Bluegrass Today calls the band’s performances “full of energy” and 303 Magazine says: “It was love at first sight. This gaggle of undeniably good looking young men blew me away with their high-energy afternoon explosion of strings and enthusiasm”.
If you're on the fence about attending BottleRock this year or haven't decided which day out of three great line-ups to plunk down the big bucks for, then why not support our local music talent by making a date to see The Brothers Comatose on Saturday May 30th?
