My idea to feature an easy to follow vintage or modern day recipe at the end of each chapter of "Fog Valley Crush" serves as a sweet and tasty reminder of how simple it is to eat seasonally and locally.
Tomato season is here in Sonoma County. There's just no stopping the bounty. I fell in love with Mrs. Button's Stuffed Tomatoes recipe during research at the Petaluma Historical Museum and Library. It was a tough assignment, but what can I say?
