What an amazing group the Petaluma Fabulous Women has proven itself over and over again with its inspirational gatherings raising thousands and thousands of dollars for local families facing extraordinary challenges.
First up for 2013 is an event close to my heart. I've shared friend Meri Schumacher's story several times over the last year, after Meri and her four lovely boys tragically lost husband and dad, Ryan to cancer.
Meri's incredible journey continues as she solo parents her school-aged sons, three of whom have Type I Diabetes. Soldiering on, she has made it her mission to educate the outside world as to what it really means to live with Type I Diabetes, day in, day out.
The Petaluma Fabulous Women invite you to join the community at a special evening to honor this super strong mom's on-going spirit and strength. If you have been touched by this family's story, please bring an appetizer and a beverage to share and join the Fabulous Women and friends at Petaluma Valley Athletic Club, 85 Old Corona Road, February 22nd, 2013 - 6pm to 9pm.
