Leave it to Sparky to cajole me into thinking a little bite won't do too much damage to the waistline. Just when I thought I had the ultimate chocolate brownie down - baker girlfriend Karen B knocked me off my self-appointed pedestal with her Superbowl Sunday take on the French Laundry brownie. And, oh dear. It has to be said, Karen's take on the killer brownie was topped to sublime naughtiness by an added layer of caramel.
I'm hoping that the two athletic sons residing in close proximity to the dangerous little care package that made its way home will take care of business before I do myself anymore damage. Enough said!
From what I have been able to deduce, it's all in the artful whisking of the eggs and sugar.
