Hot on the heels of a highly successful Pints for Parks and Pools fundraiser for Petaluma Friends of Recreation, cozily under cover from the raindrops over at Lagunitas Tap Room & Beer Sanctuary, this week, is another stellar reason to get your act together for a Monday night out, off the town, here in Southern SoCo!
Petaluma Downtown Association is once again staging its annual magic act to pull a giant (Sonoma County pasture fed) rabbit out of a hat in the raising of one hundred grand to keep Butter and Egg Days afloat. It’s so sad that there is absolutely no money in the coffers from the City of Petaluma to support this hugely popular, much-loved hometown event, but, like pretty much everything else in the quality of life department, around here, these days, it’s up to our community to get into gear and raise the money ourselves.
Did you know that over 200 people typically volunteer for the parade? Impressive. Even more impressive is that Downtown Association and Visitors Program Exec Director, Marie McCusker and her tireless team continues to tackle the monumental task of raising so much money, year after year, in order for the parade to go on.
Join friends and neighbors and parade supporters for a fundraiser at Lagunita’s TapRoom & Beer Sanctuary on Monday, April 2nd from 5:30-8:30pm. Tickets will be available at the gate or for pre-purchase at Brown Paper Tickets or the Petaluma Visitor Center office at 210 Lakeville Street, Petaluma CA 94952
Tickets are $20 for adults & $5 for kids 12 and under.
There will be music by Randy & The Special Agents and The Smokehouse Gamblers, food, beer, Prizes, and 2012 Friends of The Parade Buttons by the bucket load, available for purchase. Help keep our parade marching for years to come.
