There are several Southern Sonoma County connections to Alice Water's Chez Panisse of today and a quick browse of the menu brings it home that we certainly do live in the land of bountiful fresh.
But oh to have been even the lowliest of the original locavore luminaries this past week for the internationally renowned, pioneering, Berkeley cafe's 40th anniversary festivities.
