My pal over at A Mouse in the Pantry, the unstoppable Meloni is proprietress of Courtway Catering's new and delectable pop-up "Pie Hole" - a sweet sensation that made its first official debut at the rollicking West Petaluma 2nd Annual 8,000 plus Rivertown Revival this Saturday (July 29th, 2011).
Seeings as I enjoy a little bit of pastry flour fun and application of the old elbow grease every now and again, lending a hand for a brief stint during the fevered preparation process was almost as enjoyable as joining these nautical-themed, lovely ladies of the Pie-Hole, on site.
All of the outrageously tasty offerings at the Pie Hole were snapped up by wide-eyed revivalists, though it was the pink topped, home made cherry pop tarts that won the day in the mass popularity stakes.
Congratulations to Meloni on her marvelous new venture - hand pies, berry crisp and pop tarts made with locally sourced produce. Yum.

Yeah Meloni!! Loved it all, so glad you were at the party!!

Chris, I hope you've had a day or two to put your feet up (minus the boots).
