Meet Sonoma County's soulful singer/songwriter Rose Logue. Despite living with the tenacious disease of Cystic Fibrosis throughout her thirty something years, the lovely Logue has lived every day of her life as a gift and traveled the globe with her music and an underlying message of hope for finding a cure for the deadly disorder.
I found Rose Logue
through Petaluman Helen Dias, organizer of next month's Wine and 65
Roses CF fundraiser, whom I have written a full story on - due to appear
an upcoming Argus Courier newspaper edition.
I will link to that story once it has appeared in the press, but in the meantime, Logue, who will perform at the June 19th Petaluma event, asked me to let my readers know about an earlier, rocking benefit concert for CF featuring several Bay Area based bands including Con Brio, TRUTHLiVE, Uni and her Ukelele and many other talented musicians from around the region.
This event takes place at the happening Hopmonk Tavern in Hopland, CA next Sunday, June 6th at 7pm. An all-ages show, tickets are just $10 each, so take a road-trip up North and support non-profit organizations dedicated to improving the lives of all of those suffering from Cystic Fibrosis.
Logue was diagnosed with CF at just two days old.
